Summer: Growing & Going!

Creative Ways to Build Bridges of Friendship with your ONE

Each of us have a desire to be used by God to help others connect with Him, but often we don't know how to go about it. During the summer months, we are pausing our normal mid-week programming here at JC NAZ to empower, encourage, and motivate our church to intentionally build relationships with those who are not actively following Jesus. The following list of ideas can help you build strong relationships and share Christ's love in a fun and natural way.

Above all, pray and allow the Spirit of God to lead and guide you!

Invite People Over

  • Plan a backyard cookout

  • Throw an ice cream social

  • Organize a game night

  • Make something unique together: bread, sushi, or pottery

  • Partner with a neighbor to start a common garden to share

  • Plan a movie night

  • Just sit and talk (crazy I know, but it works!)

Do Something Local

  • Head to the community pool

  • Grab dinner at a restaurant

  • Go garage sale shopping or to thrift stores

  • Take a walk to the park

  • Play a pickup game (basketball, football, soccer, etc.)

Plan a Day Trip

  • Offer to help them with a project or chore

  • Have a picnic at the lake

  • Plan a fishing trip

  • Go on a walk/hike

  • Sign up for a paint night

  • Axe throwing

  • Go to zoo
